Well, I will accept stunning, but I will not accept better half. This is an equal partnership, sir. But yes, you're right. I am stunning. I'm recently back from New Zealand where I got a bunch of sun. My skin is more like a healthy color. I feel very good. How are you? You also look stunning, by the way. Well, thank you very much. Very kind of. It's the new glasses, I think, probably. But it's also the extra lighting that's washing away the wrinkles today.

But we are here live.

And listen, we're here live for, you know, a reason that we're not very happy about.

But we have decided to do something really unusual, as Steve and I have spoken about on the live,

on our previous meetings with the advisory board and also on social media and on our previous shows that we are going into a season of Rob Reiner. Now, those of you who watch our show

or listen to our show, you know that our seasons have been starting a little later

because we want to kind of ramp up into it.

But this year,

we are going to do two seasons of a director,

and it is because of the passing of Rob Reiner.

Steve, it's really kind of crazy for me to think about

it's already been a month since he passed away.

Sadly, him and his wife, of course and in a brutal murder and of course we're not going to get into the specifics

or who's to blame or anything like that this is more a conversation about the man's life his career

and his legacy and for those of you who've done or who've listened to our seasons of before,

you know we usually like to start out with a kind of biography and conversation about the person

that we're profiling, the director we're profiling for these seasons. So Steve, what's your

feelings walking into this season of Rob Reiner that is so unusual from any season we've tackled in the past.

Well, it's really, it's frankly, it's really his death. I mean, it was so sad. It was such a, you know,

when we've done this before, we did directors who had, you know, classic directors like Orson Wells, Hitchcock, Kurosawa.

And then we've done directors like Coppola.
