Summary
Meditation using a breathing technique to energize your body. This Bhastrika breathing technique is a yogic breath that helps lift depression. It helps you tap into your zest for life. You'll inhale and exhale to the count of 27 and you can do this breathing technique 27 times. Be sure to stop the technique if you feel dizzy. If that happens, simply resume your normal breath. When we're children we naturally tap into our passion as we play and explore the world. As we get older we often let our passions slip away. In this guided meditation you'll revisit your childhood passions. As always, it's not necessary to do any of the meditation techniques -- they are simply to help you focus your mind and calm your body. This is part 3 of a 7-Part Meditation Series to Get Back Your Zest For Life, Episodes 463-469. As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.
