Hi guys, it's Rage and this is a quick word on creating yourself.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately about where I started out in life and where I

ended up and it feels absolutely inconceivable that I would have the life that I have today,

that I would have these beautiful children with these healthy relationships with them that

I didn't see modeled, that I would have a beautiful romantic relationship with my boyfriend

that I didn't see modeled, that I would have 20 plus years as an entrepreneur that I would

have created my own wealth, my own financial independence that I as a single mom fully support

my family and have supported my family for many years.

When I take a step back and when I look at it, when I think of the family that I grew

up inside of, the parts of town that I grew up inside of, the things that I saw or experience,

it really makes no sense that I live in the house I live in today or do the work that

I do today, I've been thinking about it a lot.

Now certainly there's a fair amount of luck involved in that.

I think anybody who thinks that luck doesn't exist is either too privileged to see it

or maybe hasn't experienced enough of it yet.

But that being said, even with luck being a part of this, there's a piece, a massive piece

that I want to talk about because I want to make sure that we as a community, whoever

me, you, whoever's listening to this, that we hold awareness of this and like we really

understand that it's true.

There's a great quote and unfortunately I don't know who said it, but it goes, life isn't

about finding yourself.

Life is about creating yourself.
