And also like kind of like the essence of them, you know, what they're what they're about their power and their strength of character.

You want to join up and say, yeah, we're going to do something really special here.

And, you know, no one stepped on anyone else's toes like they didn't come into fittings like I think it should be this or that.

They knew that we had curated this over a long period of time.

I had, you know, a big blown up sketch of their costume in the fitting room when they came in and they knew what they were going to try on.

And then there was a lot of the storytelling that was created through a team of people building Wakandan garments.

We knew we were building something special. We didn't know how big it was going to be.

And, you know, I continue to immerse myself in the creativity.

I learned for the first time last night reading a book that you started in theater, which I had no idea.

So you wanted to be an actress or you were in theater to be an actress?

Well, I was one of those teenagers that my mother put in all kinds of programs after school programs that had drama, that had dance and, you know, the creative arts.

And, you know, my mother wasn't necessarily like a creative arts person. I think she needed her kids to go away for a minute.

I understand that.

And I enjoyed them and she saw that. And so I was in programs like Uhu Sasa, which means freedom now.

And we'd have African drumming in the grass in between all kinds of classes.

And that was an upward bound, which is a popular inner city club innocence, you know, it gives you remedial classes.

And it also has an art component.
