My guest today is Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North and there are so many ways for people to know you I was thinking about it and I mean there's multi generations.

Some of us know you from the Iran contrahearing and that circus that we watched but 20 more than 20 years a combat marine

silver star bronze star two purple hearts but you your life beyond the

Marines has been amazing.

Perhaps most of all, you've taught generation after generation to love and respect our country.

And I thank you for that.

Well, you're kind.

I love coming here.

I say, I was not not I don't think exceeding my

balance to say this is I never get invited the same place four times and this is a

fourth time over the years I've been here so got to meet your folks tonight look I I admire what

you have done to lead others to the Lord and that's becoming increasingly

evident as my job in life at this point.

So you give me an opportunity to go out and let people know

how important that relationship is that I have with Jesus Christ.

And I love to do it and I've gotten great satisfaction out of watching that

happen with people, some of whom are my offspring and and some are the Marines with whom I served a long time ago and some of the folks that I've met since so

to the extent that I can keep doing that I'll be blessed. Well I had a misconception as a young person I didn't think you could love Jesus

and be a real man.

So one of the things I know God's asked me to do

is to help men understand that serving Jesus

does not diminish you as a man.
