And I can promise you we're not going to outthink evil.

Because evil will only yield to a power greater than itself. And to do that we're going to have to

understand the power of the kingdom. So that we're responding to evil, not with our best laid

plans and our orchestrated responses

and our political maneuvering or our financial investments and that doesn't mean those things are wrong

They're just limited in their scope. There is a greater power available to us.

But the theme is the blessings of God in our lives.

And I've distinguished, we've distinguished from scripture the distinction between a blessing and a promise.

A promise is an assurance about something that's ahead of us.

Jesus returned to the earth is a promise. He's coming back.

In order to flourish between now and then you'll need to know

how to qualify for and receive the blessings of God or you won't be flourishing

when the promise is fulfilled.

A blessing is something different. There's a tangible quality blessing, something that's bestowed upon you,

conferred upon you in scripture.

And I have been, I have been, done this rather slowly and somewhat painstakingly
