I've been many things, but that's I think a really good

description of what I do.

But I'd love for you to share your story with our listeners,

and your personal experience with chronic pain.

Okay, well, I was diagnosed with a chronic painful disease when I was actually two and a half years old.

And that was juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. It's a disease that is

chronic, it is incurable, it is something that when I was diagnosed I was 1970 and back then they didn't even

know that infants felt pain they didn't know much about pain. They didn't know much

about the immune system. They didn't know much about my disease. So and they didn't

know much about the mind-body connection as far as in the mainstream it's getting a little more

definitely we have a lot more knowledge around all that now and so growing up my

experience growing up with pain was very a very lonely one because back then you just

kind of the idea was to just try to try to keep up with the other kids kind of thing.
