David Eubank was born in Texas and grew up as the son of Christian missionaries in Thailand before attending Texas A&M University and being commissioned as an officer in the US Army. He is a former U.S. Army Special Forces and Ranger officer, is the founder and leader of the Free Burma Rangers (FBR). Karen grew up in California and Washington State, graduated from Seattle Pacific University and worked as a special education teacher in Washington State. She married David in 1993, and since then they have served as missionaries in Burma, Africa and the Middle East. Karen homeschooled all three of their children. Along with relief, the family’s personal mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ and to help people be free from oppression. They work alongside the over 130 ethnic FBR relief teams in the conflict areas of Burma, Iraq, Kurdistan, Syria, and Sudan giving help, hope, and love and putting a light on the situation. The Eubank family started the Global Day of Prayer for Burma and the Good Life Club family outreach program.

0:09.3	called Free Burma Rangers, but Katie and I both found a ton of inspiration from it. And we got to talk
0:14.4	today, not just about the work that they're doing in war, I guess war zones, really as a humanitarian
0:19.9	group and an aid group. But we talked more about
0:23.1	parenting and about family and how they were able to raise three children going, you know,
0:27.5	in the jungles, being in in war-torn regions that were dangerous. And here they have three
0:33.9	adult children that aren't just Christians and welcome to the Lord, but they want to continue to be a part of the work that the Free Burma Rangers are doing.
0:41.2	And to me, that's really inspirational.
