All right, Pastor Douglas Wilson, thank you so much for sitting down and taking the time to speak with us today.

We want to jump into, I think, kind of education, if we can.

You know, you've written, many of our listeners are going to be familiar

with you, and they're going to be aware of the fact that you've written a book on every single

topic known to mankind. And so it's impossible for us to cover all those topics. So we're going to

hone in on kind of education and educating Christian children if we can. But before we dive into that, can you, in your

own words, give our audience a introduction as to, you know, who Douglas Wilson is in the year 20, 25?

Sure. I live in Moscow, Idaho, which is in the panhandle of Idaho. And I've been pastoring here.

My day job is that of a pastor.

I'm the pastor of Christchurch.

If people ask what I do, I'd say I'm a pastor and I'm a writer.

That's what I do.

But the center of it is my pastoral vocation.

So I'm the pastor of Christchurch, and I've been the pastor since 1977.

So it's coming up on, well, 50 years in 2027. So that'll, that's a long haul. That's a long stretch.

I also was involved when I was first in ministry,

my wife and I started having kids right away. And one day, Nancy said to me,

Doug, I can't see handing her over to someone we don't know and saying, here she is,

educator. And I knew nothing about

Christian education at the time. But all I knew was that I agreed with that, what I agreed with
