In today’s episode we are going to give you pro tips on how you can enjoy the holidays and still stay fit, healthy and happy. You should be able to enjoy your holidays and not feel horrible. 

Mindset strategy: 

  • You should be able to enjoy but not horrible
  • Example feeling stuffed/ feeling regret / having no plan
  • “Enjoyment looks different for everyone”
  • What’s your priority? 
  • Remove all or nothing mindset 

Eating strategy:

  • water
  • limit alcohol before food
  • Healthy food early
  • vegetables and lean proteins first 🦃
  • focus on what you really enjoy, avoid things you care less about.
  • Pre log
  • +Leave some room for extra
  • Avoid skipping meals - don’t fast, protein fast, more vegetables, high quality nutritious food instead

Fitness strategy:

  • Workout the morning of OR schedule your workouts in advance
  • Workout with a friend (people are off! go on a hike, play some family football)
  • Go on walks don’t be too sedentary - lots of food no activity = bad
  • Try and stick to your plan.‌

I'm fired up. A turkey. Yeah, turkey, turkey, gobble, gobble. Turkey, Kyle. So, yeah yeah we're in that season obviously Thanksgiving tomorrow

fun coming but I know for a lot of our people on their grind right now dieting wanting to do well

in their fitness it's that hard season right right? There's cookies, there's turkey,

there's stuffing, there's all these amazing things, right? There's challenges in front of us.

And today we're going to go over how you can actually enjoy the holidays, but still stay fit.

So we're going to give you tips in terms of, you know, strategy towards eating, you know,

That's where people go wrong. I find it's the holidays. It's Thanksgiving. I do not care. I'm not worried about a thing. And, you know, once again, I'm fine with this attitude in the sense of if you're like, hey, I want to enjoy myself, even if you were to the point of you're like, I don't want to count calories today.

But where people mess up is they'll say that, you know, they won't, they'll just eat anything and everything because they've given themselves this whole pass and they'll end up eating double or triple the calories, then a ripple into the next day and then you go to several parties. and before you know it, you're up five, six, ten pounds, right?
