| 0:00.0 | I'm pulling my driveway. We all know what that means. It's time for the drive to work. |
| 0:06.0 | Okay, so today, so one of the things that we do in making magic sets is every block is set in a different world. |
| 0:15.0 | And so half the time we've decided we're going to visit brand new worlds and half the time |
| 0:23.2 | we're going to revisit worlds that we've previously visited. |
| 0:28.1 | So today it's going to talk about the difference between new worlds and returning worlds and |
| 0:32.9 | the challenges that it makes for design. |
| 0:36.6 | So first off, let me explain that when Magic began, |

| 1:18.3 | You can walk between the planes. Perhaps we should go visit different planes rather than making them all, |
| 1:24.1 | quote unquote, set on the same place. And so, starting, I mean, Magic actually visited other planes all the way back as early as Arabian Nights, |
| 1:33.5 | which was his first expansion. |
| 1:34.6 | So it's not like it hasn't, it didn't visit planes in the early years. |
| 1:38.4 | But it, the interesting thing is the first like 10 years or so, it only left the plane a couple times. |
| 1:45.6 | Arabian Nights were set on a separate plane. |
| 1:47.8 | Homeland was set on a separate plane. |
