Summary

In life, pain is inevitable. But suffering is always optional. Of course it doesn’t always feel that way. When we’re in pain and suffering it can often feel like we have no choice. But we do. We always do.

Sometimes pain is appropriate. Grief is appropriate. Sadness is appropriate. But suffering truly has no upside.

In todays episode, I bring you part of a live coaching call I did with one of my clients who was diagnosed with a chronic illness. She feels as though so much of her life is out of her hands, and that much of the future she had planned for herself is no longer an option. And while those things may be true, it is the resistance of them, the “things shouldn’t be this way” thinking, the “this isn’t fair” thinking that is added to her pain.

Join us as I help her move from suffering, back into pain, and ultimately into peace- with the pain and without. I hope you can see part of yourself in her story and find a way to grant yourself more peace in the face of pain.

See you inside💥
