Summary

Part 1 of how to create an agile brand. While it seems that it’s only in the age of technology that everyone complains about being too busy and things moving too quickly, this isn’t the case. As early as 500 BC, Heraclitus said: “the only thing that is constant is change.” You need to find ways to take advantage of change and use it for your advantage.

Hi, this is Greg. Look for my book The Agile Brand on Amazon or on my website at the

0:05.4

agile. World. Welcome back to the Agile World podcast. This is Greg Kilstrom. In the next few

0:15.1

episodes I'm going to talk about how to create an Agile Brand. In my book,

1:10.8

People have been saying this for millennia, basically.

1:15.0

You know, it's, it's, I think the thing that, I think the thing that continues to change is really the rate of that change and the rate of progress and stuff, but change has always been around.

1:28.0

And so organizations that understand this and embrace this are embraced for the future.

1:33.8

There's a few different concepts that I'm going to talk about today and the first one is the idea

1:38.8

of inflection point.

1:41.1

And so if you're not familiar with that term, inflection point is a mathematical term,

1:46.3

it's essentially the point in a curve in which the direction of that curve changes.

1:50.5

And so you're going along, perhaps you're going up, things are getting better, things are increasing,
