Summary

This may be my new favorite episode! It is jam-packed with inspiration thanks to my girl Chelsey Curtis from What We Said podcast! We unpacked what it actually means to be a holistic health coach (which she is, obviously I'm not!) We cover everything from an abundance mindset to intuitive eating and more! The moral of the story is, this episode is about "realizing things!"

Welcome back to mood with Lorna Lisbeth. I'm Lorna Lisbeth and today I'm going to be joined with Chelsea Curtis from what we said podcast and the balanced boss course.

0:09.7

She's obviously a fellow podcaster, but she's also a holistic health coach and just a wealth of knowledge.

0:16.5

I completely hit it off with her. Obviously I mentioned her last week as well. So we finally got around to recording together and had an amazing, amazing,

0:24.8

and honestly completely personally inspiring to me conversation. We talk everything about her journey to becoming a health coach, what it means to be a health coach.

0:33.0

You guys can learn so much from this one. I promise you, I mean, I personally am feeling so inspired, so I'm sure you will as well.

I will issue a small trigger warning just that she mentions her eating disorder, some binge eating stuff. So if you struggle with that, she obviously is such a success story and has incredible insights to share with us,

0:52.5

but just wanted to give you a heads up for that as well. So first before we get into that current mood,

Convo, let's jump into best mood and worst mood of the week. We have to remember that not every week is going to be perfect because we are not perfect people,

1:05.9

which is why this week's best mood is so on brand because it was progress. I always say progress, not perfection.

1:12.6

And I just think that life is about growing Chelsea and I talk about it about realizing things, which Kylie Jenner obviously ruined for all of us,

1:20.5

but truly I really felt like this week was about progress for me. I really found myself challenging myself in just different areas,

1:26.9

whether it was doing mental health work, whether it was doing physical health challenges, whether it was challenging myself in work,

1:35.1

just really digging deeper into things and pushing myself to be a better version of myself and acknowledging the progress by realizing the things that I wanted to challenge myself and do,

1:45.5

I really did feel better after them. So it really shows you that little bit of progress that's so small, but so important and vital to building upon and to being the best version of yourself,

1:56.3

which is obviously always continuously growing and changing and evolving, but it's always about that progress. And unless you challenge yourself,

2:03.9

you can't move forward and you can't grow. So this week, I really felt myself starting to take steps to continue to progress to not stay stagnant.

2:12.6

I think obviously in this time, it feels really easy to be complacent because there's not physically a lot of places to go the jobs and the market.

2:21.1

It feels like maybe there's not a lot of room to grow, but I think that's when we can really work on ourselves and our personal kind of health and growth and development and spiritual mind,

2:30.6

body, soul, everything like that. And so I really found myself pushing myself experiencing small new things.

2:36.6

It can be something as small as like getting yourself to work out again, meeting new people, putting yourself in a new and uncomfortable situation,

2:44.3

smaller, just newer habits that maybe you've kind of let slip, like those are the things that are going to give you progress,

2:50.0

having those tough conversations with others with yourself, just all of that stuff that really just gets good progress.
