Wayfair, every style, every home. When I was in high school, I was in a group chat with all of my

high school friends. This is where we talked about everything. Boys, classes, gossip,

what's going on in our lives on the weekends, and how we still kept in contact once we all graduated.

One day I realized I needed to remove myself from this space, a space that was once fun felt judgmental and uninviting. So because of many

reasons that I won't really get too deep into, I left the chat after eight years. I did announce

my goodbye. I just did what had been on my mind for quite some time. And it was one of the

most freeing things I had ever experienced. The biggest lesson I learned from all of this is

there should be no guilt associated with leaving the chat. And every message doesn't warrant a response.
