When we have a deeper understanding of our emotions, which I feel mindfulness has helped me do, we can really understand our emotions better. It's given me a much deeper understanding of what I'm feeling and how to be present with whatever emotion I'm experiencing. Thoughts on Breathing Breathing is the greatest gift because it reminds us that we're alive and that we're here and that we're breathing and so, therefore, we're alive. I highly recommend people connect with their breath whether they're sitting in meditation or you need to just stop while you're sitting at your desk working and take a couple of deep breaths in and out. It's the greatest anchor, it regulates.
