What I like to do is first lay down a kind of syncopated beat that isn't so much about what it is altogether.

It's more about the modulation and what it is once it starts.

It's a little bit of a groove more than it is a rock beat. I do a flam rest

followed by sort of an intricate African thing on the low drums so it goes like so the pattern is you ride on this tom here hopefully you've got the 17 tombs and it goes

something like this t.b t.l. In the next hour we will present information that's both shocking and
