In this episode we go over our top tips to lose belly fat in four easy steps. 

1- Consume less (intake)

  • Keep an ACCURATE log of your calorie intake. Key word, accurate*
  • Make sure you’re in a deficit through trial and error.
  • More cooking, using measuring cups, checking labels, etc.
  • Simply aim to be better

2- Move More (Expenditure)

  • Follow a consistent strength training program
  • Aim for 10k+ steps a day, and carve out time to walk daily
  • Cardio is a great addition to help w/ calories burned

3- Focus on sleep/stress

  • In several experimental studies, short-term sleep deprivation led to increased calorie intake and weight gain. This may be because of changes in the appetite-regulating hormones leptin and ghrelin, and a greater intake of high-calorie foods and sugar-sweetened beverages.
  • Aim to have a consistent stress management routine. Meditation, journal, walk, etc.
  • Night time routine- Do everything possible for a solid DEEP sleep.

4- Stick to the basics & avoid the nonsense/fads/quick fixes

Most things people focus on, which waste a lot of time & energy

  • Going keto and having no carbs
  • Fasted cardio & fasting in general
  • Ab exercises daily
  • Relying on supplements
  • Juice cleanses

So these are actually really high-level tips and they are going to help you accelerate that journey. So we're really excited to jump into it. I'll let Kyle take it away. Yeah, like I'm really, really excited about this. I feel like there's just not many, I guess you could say like easy step processes. And of course, yes, I say easy, but at least these are easy things to take into consideration.

I think a lot of times people overcomplicate it. They give you these crazy fad things that never work. So that's why we just wanted to keep this raw and real. You know, before we jump into it, like a lot of people obviously may realize, but may not. Like essentially belly fat is just right in between our abs and our skin. And like the thing that a lot of people don't realize,

though, is that unfortunately it doesn't come off in a pattern that suits you best. Typically speaking,

you know, the reason we have it is it was actually created for survival. A lot of us,

depending on, you know, whether you're female, male or whatever it is, like you may have just like different areas that you store it in a little bit more than others.

But the biggest thing is in order to get that belly fat down, you're going to need a little bit

of patience and you're going to need to implement all of these tips here. And I'm just going to

jump into it right now. And like this is the most important thing that is going to make the biggest

difference that a lot of people don't focus on. Number one is just consuming less.

And that's where a lot of people struggle is there's so many different contributing
