Summary
I found the enneagram several years ago and was fascinated by how accurate, and informative, it was at explaining how I work, what I’m motivated by, and what can be my Achilles heel if I don’t watch it.
More than that, it helped me to better understand those around me. It helped me to not take things so personally when I saw clear as day how different we’re all wired and motivated.
On today’s episode, I talk to Enneagram expert Enneagram Ashton, who gives us a high level overview of the 9 types so you can see where you fit into it. There was so much we couldn’t cover in our short chat, but I hope it gives you enough of a taste to spark your interest to learn more!

| 1:04.4 | anyagram the anyagram is a personality assessment and I have found it to be |
| 1:12.4 | so informative about things that make me tick, things that I'm motivated by, but also other people in my life. |
| 1:20.0 | I started really deep diving it several years ago, and I've kind of researched back into it because I forgot how |
| 1:27.0 | helpful it is for me to understand myself better. I love getting to know me. |
| 1:32.0 | It's like my new favorite hobby is just like |
| 1:35.4 | because I kind of feel like there's me here consciously talking to you right and |
| 1:40.6 | then there's also my brain who is just kind of tags along wherever I go. |
| 1:45.0 | But my brain is, it's like my little sister that's, or my, I don't know, it's my shadow that's been with me forever but isn't always like in alignment with my conscious brain with what I actually want right so one of my very favorite things to do is just sort of observe my brain. |
| 2:03.6 | Like you have heard me say it and I'm going to just continue. You are not your |
| 2:07.3 | thoughts, you're just the thinker of them. So I've loved taking all kinds of information |
| 2:14.2 | and just seeing where I fit into it. |
| 2:17.1 | So we kind of blew through this conversation. |
| 2:21.5 | It was just a quick 40 minute chat or so with her. |
