In today's episode, we'll be talking about pressure and anxiety. We all live with different kinds of pressure on us,

whether they're pressures from the outside or a pressure that we put on ourselves, intrinsic pressure.

We are doing things to ourselves quite often more than the outer world is putting pressure on us. This is familiar to me because

I have a lot of internal voices that over my lifetime have told me what I should be doing, how I should be doing it, more, better, so forth and so on.

And I know from my clients in the group and email that I get that there is a lot of internal and external

pressure going on out there that is contributing to our anxiety.

And so one of the things that helps that is to actually slow down.

The pressure builds because it's usually about things that we should be doing.

There's a lot of doing involved with our pressure that we put on ourselves and that the world puts on us too.

And so the thought of taking time off or slowing things down might be intriguing to you or it might be yeah I can't do that next well don't

go away too soon here because there's a lot of space on the continuum of being over-pressured

and having to do-do-do and not doing anything at all. Life is not black and white like that, and

although when we get cut up in depression and anxiety, we often think that life is black or white.

I'm either doing it all right or all wrong. I either have a lot of

pressure on me or no pressure on me. I've sold everything and barefoot in the mountains, but no, there is a lot of space on that continuum and we can all move just a little bit to help relieve some of this pressure that we are living with, or as should I say struggling

with.
