So my quote for this week is, it's pretty simple, but it's something that I came across the other day. You know, obviously, hopefully you enjoyed the last Thursday episode, which was just

about not making excuses, but, you know, kind of working off of how I was saying, you know, just how a lot of times we don't have energy to work out and, you know, just all that other stuff and how it gives us energy. It just made me think you're only one workout away from a better mood. And, you know, it's just very simple, right? So, you know, I know there's so many times we kind of want to be like,

we kind of want to be like, ah, you know, I just, you know, I'm, I'm not feeling too great today. And just, you know, every single time, I guarantee you, like, I've probably done thousands of workouts in my life. I know Josh has as well. And this very rare that you leave the gym and you're like, oh man, I just, I'm not feeling it.

You know, of course there's going to be a situation.

just like, oh my gosh, I push myself a little too hard or whatever this scenario is.

Or maybe you didn't push yourself enough and you're like, I wish I did a little bit more. but the moral of the story is I'd say 99% of the time each time that you get in there,

you know, no matter what, if you're ever just feeling a little bit down,

if you're feeling demotivated, if you're feeling just a little bit sad,

if you're feeling just feeling a little bit down, if you're feeling demotivated, if you're feeling just a little bit sad, if you're feeling just like, whatever it is, you're literally one workout away from completely switching that, you know, script from getting a good, good, solid workout in. Absolutely. You know, like very often, too, if you're having a bad day, I know a lot of people the last thing they want to do is go to the gym or you want to default to you know those kind of quick heednistic tendencies right like when everything's horrible i know a lot of people have a tendency you know i was even discussing with one of my clients you know that there's just a million things going on in her life she feels like doesn't have a lot of control for herself so an easy way to respond to that is just by eating a lot of

food, right? Because we feel like we're in control of it. You know, it smells good. It tastes good. We feel full. But the problem is it's very short-sided, right? And that trade-off just isn't great. Even though we feel like we can control that moment, that causes us to feel more lethargic, you know, to gain weight, to feel sluggish, you know, to get a headache from our eat.

And it's one of those things where we think it's going to

kind of fix, but it's not really going to solve that problem. And that's why I really challenge people, like even today, you know, I just challenged myself. I was feeling good. So I had a really nice, luxurious workout you know i'm like what a treat that i'm able to you know spend an hour and 45 minutes

two hours with my sauna in the gym and just kind of enjoy it because it's my time, my me time,
