Good evening. There are 147 days left until the 2022 midterm elections. Welcome back to the

Trump show strategy sessions where every week my panel and I try to answer this question. How do

we ensure that the Democrats when races at every level of government and hold on to or

appropriately expand our razor thin margins in the House and the Senate? Joining me this week,

I'm so pleased to have Margae, who's a member of the New York Times editorial board,

and a political analyst with a focus on my favorite place on the planet, New York State and

local affairs. She was a city hall reporter for, at the, sorry, at the New York Times that she's

worked for the Daily News. That's the New York Daily News. I'm very provincial, sorry. And the

Atlantic, among many others, Stephanie Koff, who took to Twitter as Lincoln's Bible to raise the alarm

on Donald's history with the mob. She also writes and produces the World Beneath in audio series

about the own told history and origins of organized crime and intelligence operations.

And she also hosts the five eight with novelist and S.A.S. and All-Rangogai, Greg Olyar. And

finally, Ruth Bengiat, a historian and commentator on fascism, authoritarian leaders and propaganda.

She's a professor of history and Italian studies at New York University. The proprietor of the newsletter

I think it's sort of inescapable. I think we have to start talking about

the hearings. You know, I confess, I don't like some of the ways in which the General

Research Select Committee's work has been and the hearings have been presented in political terms.

You know, how is it going to play out in the midterms? I don't think that's fair.

They are so much more important than pure politics. This is literally about

what this country is and who is still willing to be open minded about
