Good evening and welcome to tonight's episode of the Mary Trump show. I am incredibly fortunate

0:24.2

to have us. My guest tonight, Dan Goldman, who was an assistant district attorney in the

0:29.0

Southern District of New York under Freehara for 10 years. He was the lead counsel to the

0:34.2

House managers of Donald's impeachment, and he is currently a candidate for Congress

0:40.0

in New York's 10th district. But also, I think importantly, he's somebody who understands

0:46.7

how the hallways and stairways in Congress work. Welcome, Dan. How are you?

0:52.2

Great to be here with you, Mary. Thanks so much for having me.

0:55.2

1:54.3

the decisions that go into every single little thing that you do or don't do. And remember,

2:01.5

there are over a thousand interviews this committee has done. They have over 100,000 documents

2:07.7

to put in a perspective. We worked around the clock for our first impeachment hearings,

2:13.6

and we had 17 witnesses total. And very few documents because your favorite uncle refused

2:22.0

to turn them over. So it's an incredible undertaking that they've done to still all of this

2:30.9

information into a really powerful presentation that is not too cumbersome, it's not too long,

2:41.0

it's really punchy, it's really to the point, and it really captures the essence, I think,

2:47.0

of what was going on in different threads of their investigation. So I've just been incredibly
