I was reviewing a book a few months ago called The Reason I Jump and it was written by an autistic boy and it's an incredible book and I urge you to get it and look at our review

but I was talking to a friend of mine who has an autistic daughter and we're going to call her Lee for

purposes of anonymity which I'll get into in a minute. Anyway I told her about the book

asked her if she'd read it and she said she had but she just wished that people who

read it had some actionable items to take away from it.

And so I wasn't sure what she meant and we got to talking and I asked if she would be willing to sit for an interview so that we could talk more about what she wishes

She initially did not want us to run the episode because she felt that if her daughter ever heard it,
