a pastor and teacher at Bridgetown Church in Portland, Oregon.

Welcome to season one. Welcome back guys. This is episode for today's episode because this is the first of what would that be.

I went to public school so my math's bad, but like what, seven or eight more episodes coming forward

on topical nature now of every episode is going to lean into one of these

practices that we want to talk about, that we want to cultivate, that we want you to think about.

And today's the first one. Today we're going to talk

about silence or silence and solitude is another way you can put it even though

those are different things. We'll get into that in a minute. But John Mark had a good idea to set up these

episodes as we go forward it'd be fun for us to just start with what would we say

our definition of those things are and kind of making sure we're

understanding what it also isn't.

So, John Mark, I'd love to hear first.
