So in continuation of our mini series on four places to never get marriage advice from,

today is day four, our final day and our fourth place to never get marriage advice from,

which is people who don't share your values.

So, you know, you'd think that this would be like pretty obvious advice,

but you'd be so shocked how many people take advice from people who don't share their values. So Dr. Kim, why is it a bad idea to get marriage of bias for people who don't share your same values? Good question. You know, I was thinking if I was getting ready to start a business, who would I go to to talk? Am I going to go and talk to the guy that, yeah, his business has been successful, but I also know that he, anything goes with him.

If he cheats or he has to step on people to go ahead, is that I'm going to go to you to get the advice from. I'm going to go to the guy who really is very ethical in his

business, who has built his business in the proper way. And I think the same thing you would do in marriage.

If someone is not faithful to their spouse, if someone loves a lifestyle that's very

different than what you want in your marriage, that's not the person you're going to go

to get to get advice from.

You want to go to someone that has the

same values that values marriage that wants to honor god with their marriage that sherry is just their

spouse that is trying to as a guy trying to be the leader that god designed him to be in his in his

home if it's the woman who's trying to be that proverb 31 woman and so those are the people you

want to surround yourself with

because that would be the people that help you move in the direction that you want to and that

you want your marriage to move. Yeah, that is good. That's great advice. I totally agree. I think,

yeah, our values are just our foundation for everything. You know, it literally affects everything.

It affects all the decisions you make, your attitude and perspective on things. And so, you know, grabbing advice from someone who doesn't
