Welcome to Betrayal Trauma Recovery. This is just a quick update. This is a Saturday morning at 4.54 a.m. that I'm recording.

Obviously things are getting really intense. They're just locked down 75 million people in the United States. America may be closed for business, but abuse is not closed for business.

And now we have a situation where so many women are faced with being in close proximity to emotional or

psychological abuse and perhaps a man who's wanting to act out with his

pornography but can't do it at work, for example,

or can't make an excuse to go to the store, or we'll try, you know, we'll be like, oh, I'm

going to do this or that.

And victims might be like, well, wait, why are you going?

We don't need that thing, or, you know, it's going to get intense.

So the next podcast episode that airs on Tuesday I recorded a long time ago and it's

basically scriptural justification for social distancing which I think is apropos.

I didn't even know about social distancing

when I recorded it.

Basically, it's talking about how God wants you to protect yourself and how distancing yourself from quote unquote

sin and I'm I'm gonna say a quote unquote sin because what really is sin? Sin is harm. When someone is guilty of

sin, they're really guilty of harm. The reason why God tells us not to lie is to protect other people. The reason he tells us not to lie is to protect other people.

The reason he tells us not to commit adultery is to protect other people.

The reason why he tells us not to use porn is to protect other people. The reason why you get in trouble by

God if you sin so to speak.

And I apologize for those of you who are not religious,

you can just say live in healthy ways.

It's because God doesn't want you to harm people.
