Everybody, and welcome back to I just want to talk about the Bible.

My name is Christian, for those of you who are joining us for the first time this week.

I'm glad to have you with us.

Now, in the introduction to this podcast, the very first episode, I mentioned that almost every episode is going to fall under one of three primary categories.

The first category being, what is the Lord currently showing me?

Because I believe that if he's shown it to me and put it in my heart, that when I share it, it'll have power because it's originating from the Spirit of God and not just something I contrived in my own mind.

And so that's the first category.

I've already uploaded a couple episodes.

I fall under that.

The second category is going to be a question and answer about the Bible, Christianity, Jesus, any of that stuff.

And then the third category is going to be hopefully equipping you guys with tools

for reading your Bible, ways that'll help the Bible make more sense,

ways that will help the Bible come more alive in ways that previously maybe it hadn't. I know

that I have benefited a lot whenever people have given me tools and it's made the Bible very,

it's made it make a lot more sense. And also that has led to it being a lot more exciting.

Especially some, especially some stuff in the Old Testament because some of that, especially

the prophets, can be really hard. So today, specifically what we're going to be talking about

is an overview of the Old Testament. A very, very, very brief overview of the Old Testament.
