This is basically an extended ad for the family camp. I'll tell you what to expect. I'll tell you a little bit of

background towards the back half of the show. I'll talk with you about some ideas about events and what I

have learned running some and what I think the future of events is and how you can use events in your life

very productively. But I know there will be many people listening who just know that they want to go and

sign up. Fair warning is that at the time of recording this podcast, which I think actually

this number might be out of date, but at the time of recording this podcast, I have sold

149 tickets and I have space for about 250 people. I can sell about 100 more. So we're about two-thirds full.

And the reason for that is because tickets have been sold to past attendees before the public announcement.

And so all of the past attendees have had the first access to the ticket sales.

And so those who wish to return have been able to get their tickets first.

We've got space for about 100 new attendees.

And that's actually been something that's been really wonderful about the family camp.

This is becoming, certainly for my family, and I know for many attendees,

it's becoming a bit of an annual tradition.

We have a significant number of attendees who have attended both of the prior family camps,

and we become friends.

And more than that, I mean, yes, we become friends.

We've engaged in some interesting collaboration, and we've been able to extend our relationships
