It is a household name now, the N95 mask, also known as the N95 respirator, and it is key to preventing the spread of the coronavirus. The biggest maker, 3M. You probably know the multi-billion dollar manufacturing company for the things you use every day, right? Like scotch tape and post-it notes. Well, 3M stands for Minnesota

mining and manufacturing, and it's based in my home state of Minnesota. Today, the company

is in the spotlight for its N95 mask production, both because it's very effective at filtering

out airborne particles and because of the shortage of these masks throughout the pandemic.

I'm Poppy Harlow, and on this special episode of Boss Files, I sit down exclusively with 3M

chairman and CEO Mike Roman.

by the end of the year.
