0:07.0	What do you do when some of the videos on your site contain misinformation?
0:12.0	Misinformation that can be harmful, that can damage our democracy on the eve of the election.
0:18.0	And then there's the spreading of hate and conspiracy theories
0:22.6	and the impact of it all on our kids.
0:25.6	Some of these videos have had real consequences.
0:28.6	They've radicalized people,
0:30.6	inspired violence, and can influence how people vote.
0:34.6	In recent years, YouTube has acknowledged this,
0:37.6	and they've worked hard to correct it.
0:40.1	They've put in place significant new policies,
0:43.0	taken down tens of millions of these videos,
0:46.7	and changed their algorithms to make videos with misinformation
0:50.5	a lot harder to find.
0:52.4	But YouTube is enormous.
