Hey everyone Benkuma Radio how on earth are you doing so today is a short one on

minimizing life remember ages ago years ago now I had the minimalist on the podcast and I've talked before about sometimes

doing my washing up as it allows me to focus my mind and it cleans the kitchen and I feel like I'm in a good place.

Well, so today is a Sunday on the day of recording this and I've been gifted a free day

because it was my wife's birthday. She went out and drunk a bit too much and today

she feels a little bit poorly. So I'm going to use that day to continue to minimize my life.

So what am I doing and why do I want to do this?

Well, I believe in a ever busy world that we live in today,

you know, there's technology that's just interjecting itself into every area of our lives.

I think it's really important to know how to get clarity on what it is that you want in your life so that you can give meaningful time to it.

It's so easy to just let things in and pick up apps and music and books and people and things and habits because it's just

so much going on and I think it's one of the reasons I like to live in the

countryside it feels simple there's no noise there's nothing going on there's

no one around me and in all corners of my environment right now I'm trying to

simplify things as much as possible I'm also trying to do this because there will

hopefully be more people in my life suing me and my wife are sort of planning that

stage of our life to have kids and I want my life to be as simple and as streamlined as possible.

I've got a year, we think, to do that.

So I want to start doing it. I want to start getting my life to a place where I'm really happy and I've just literally got that time and that space and that comfort and that energy to just give to something else in my life.

So I went on holiday and one of my tasks on

holiday was to finish deleting all the old stuff on my phone. So photos, videos like all that stuff because we just whip our phone out now and just

take photos of all sorts of stuff and it was clogging up my phone I had a 250
