I believe the circumstances in the world at the time of Jesus first entry into time

will be very similar to the circumstances in our world when Jesus comes back.

I'm not suggesting that the Roman Empire will be reassembled,

but I think that expression of authoritarianism and all the things that

came with that. Some of the pressures that the people felt, particularly God's people

felt, will be mirrored when Jesus comes back to the earth,

so the better we understand the circumstances of the first century,

I believe the better prepared we'll be

to welcome the Lord back when he comes.
