Summary

In this episode, I welcome artist and educator Autumn Skye. We explore artistry and activism as Autumn share’s more about her artwork which reflects reverence for nature and humanity. Autumn and I talk about her intuitive creative process which emphasizes presence and surrender to inspiration and we discuss challenging the separation of humans from nature. We also dive into the topics of impermanence, connection to the universe, and embracing creativity as a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Autumn speaks to and celebrates art's transformative power in shaping personal narratives and embracing imperfections. Surrendering to the creative process, balancing discipline and spontaneity, and finding joy in daily experiences are highlighted as keys to creating art that resonates with depth and authenticity. Tune in for a profound episode that invites us all to connect with our own inner artist and to remember the interconnectedness of all things. As a self-taught artist, she is forever a student of the intuitively creative process. Autumn Skye’s style weaves together refined realism, iconic imagery, archetypical symbolism, and spiritual principles. She’s inspired by the magnificence of this incredible planet, the potency of these extraordinary times, and the mysteries of the cosmos. Through her work, she seeks to honour the resiliency of the human spirit and the intricate connections between all facets of life. Autumn Skye exhibits and teaches worldwide, and otherwise thrives and paints in the beautiful temperate-rainforest of coastal British Columbia, Canada. Considering herself immensely blessed to do what feeds her soul, she strives to support others through creative empowerment, the gift of beauty, and the perpetuation of inspiration. —Veil Painting Video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2f5uoRSv-9/?igsh=MXZtanN2M2JtZTRrcA== —Autumn’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/autumnskyeart/ —Autumn’s Website: https://autumnskyeart.com/ —Autumn’s Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Autumn-Skye/145084220260 —Autumn’s ETSY Shop: http://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/AutumnSkyeART?ref=shop_sugg —Autumn’s Additional Links: https://autumnskyeart.com/links If you want to dive deeper into Mark’s content, search through every episode, find specific topics we’ve covered, and ask him questions, go to his Dexa page: https://dexa.ai/markgroves Themes: Artistry, Activism, Nature, Humanity, Creativity, Spirit, Impermanence, Connection, Self-Discovery, Empowerment, Transformation, Imperfections, Discipline, Authentic Art, Authenticity, Belonging, Spirituality, Purpose Contact us at podcast@markgroves.com for sponsor product support, questions, comments, or just to say hello!Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
