Happy to have Janice Bangler here with me again for a second part of this two-part series,

where we're talking about the interesting events that have unfolded here on the year 2025 around the issue of polygamy in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So, hello, Jana. How are you? Great.

Happy to be here. Happy to have you. Last episode, we spent some time talking about, first of all,

why we are sort of focusing on polygamy. I am not a church historian,

but I am someone who likes to notice patterns. And I started noticing a pattern this year.

And I'm sure it has, at least in some way, shape, or form to do with the fact that the church

is sort of focused on the doctrine and covenants, come follow me at all of the

levels, all of the ages are studying church history. And so that to me, yeah, that makes

sense. But I do feel like there was almost something more going on in the sort of the Mormon

zeitgeist about an uptick in polygamy talk. And last, last conversation that Jana and I had,

we admittedly did, I'm not a long form podcaster on any level. Like, you know, an hour is

plenty for me. And we went, Jenna and I just like to talk. If we were like neighbors,
