What is going on guys welcome back to another episode of the Bear Performance Podcast.

I am your host Nick Bear CEO of Bear Performance Contrition and today is Friday June 12th.

I wanted to do a weekly wrap up of some things that we're currently working on. More importantly,

things have been going through my head in this past week. Some big announcements.

So as you guys know many of you know I am training to qualify for the Boston Marathon,

which is a sub-three hour marathon. It's a 6.50 minute per mile pace or better and with COVID-19,

races were canceled for a long time. I mean there were three marathons that I was signed up for

and those three marathons got canceled because races just weren't happening. But with races coming back

and the world coming back to normal, I guess in some cases, I know Texas is it's becoming more normal

in restaurants and bars and retail shops and everything's opening back up. My coach and I decided

it's time to sign up for the next race in hope said it's it's going to be happening. So November 7th,

November 7th, I am going to be completing the Indianapolis marathon and that is where I will

qualify for the Boston Marathon. That's where I will run a sub-three hour marathon. So

that's a big day guys. That's when it's going to happen. That's when we be running. I haven't

announced it on any platform yet. I've been leaving some little hints leading up to this.

I said on Instagram that I have found the next race. I've signed up for that race.

On a YouTube video coming up here I'll announce it that we've selected the marathon and that's

where it's going to happen. It's pretty interesting because that is almost exactly I think it might

be exactly one year after my Ironman triathlon. I can't remember if my Ironman was November 4th or

November 7th or somewhere around there in 2019. However, the marathon that I will, I say I will

confidently. I will qualify for the Boston Marathon. It's just about a year afterwards.
