What is going on guys welcome back to another episode of the Bear Performance Podcast.

mile PR. The sub five minute mile PR that I'm super proud of that I accomplished. Man it was,

it might have been just about a month ago. It's crazy how fast that went at 194 pounds. That's

currently what I'm sitting at. A lot of you guys know they've been following this journey, this

process over the past year. The transformation into endurance training going from strictly

bodybuilding and powerlifting and strength focused training to full blown endurance training.

You know going into my Iron Man prep which happened almost a year ago today. This is around the

time I really started diving into into Iron Man prep in preparation for the Panama City Florida Iron

Man which is in November 2nd that I finished in 11 hours and 28 minutes and through that process

really fell in love with endurance training. Now by no means am I unfamiliar with running or

endurance training especially coming from a military background spending four years in the

infantry and the army going through Ranger School and being forced to run. When I say forced to

run I mean it was never enjoyable for me. I never really fell into a rhythm of running and it's

funny and I look back at this all the time because I remember making a YouTube video. This is about

2017. It was probably, it was probably middle of April in 2017 and I made a YouTube video and I

said in that video I will never run a day in my life again and it's funny because some of you

that follow my journey my process and especially the YouTube videos that I've created over the past

six years now you guys will watch that video or see that video record that part and then send it

to me in like a Instagram DM or an email because it's funny the training that I'm doing now.

I think that puts in perspective how your life can change drastically the way you feel about
