Welcome back to the podcast. Today we are talking about preaching like you're not afraid.

And this is for my communicators. Those that are seasoned communicators, you've been preaching at

youth groups, women's conferences, Sunday morning pulpits. Like this is what you do. You've been doing it for a long time.

And the next weeks are just about reminding us as

communicators like, hey, here's some things I really want to make sure that you and I take note of.

We spent an entire month on new communicators. We spent a conversation every week on the art

of preaching and if you think you're called and why you think

you're called. But then there's this whole other group of us that have been communicating for years,

if not decades. And sometimes those messages are very different. So you and I both know if you're a

seasoned communicator, you know you're called. You've been doing it for a while. You know that you like doing it. It's hard work, but you love it because it's part of the gift and

the call. But I'm kind of trying to unpack some of the pitfalls that I have faced as a

communicator that I hope will help you and some of the things I'm doing currently to remind me

how to stay true to the person God's called me to.

So last week, we talked all about when your voice gets buried as a communicator and how do you

actually discover that?

You're not finding your voice.

You're uncovering your voice.

So let's talk about fear in the pulpit.

How many of you have found yourself prepping a message?

You have all of your theology. You've got all your points. You've got your conviction.

And yet you have this part of you that says, I wish I could say this, but I don't know if I can.
