0:00.0	Hi, welcome back to the podcast today. We are talking all about the art of preaching, and we're jumping into our second season of talking to season communicators, those of you that have been preaching for a while.
0:13.8	Now, statistically, we find that people are preaching. They're speaking a lot. In fact, studies show there's about 300,000 messages that go out just in the
0:24.4	United States every single week. We're talking kids ministry, women's ministry, you know,
0:30.6	announcements, preaching, youth pastors, like there are thousands, hundreds of thousands of messages
0:36.3	that are being preached all over. And then
0:39.0	collectively, data shows that there's well over a million messages every week that are going out
0:45.1	around the world from these faith communities. And so I think it's very important that we begin
0:51.1	to talk about the topic of preaching, not just the idea of it, but really the
0:55.6	practical parts. Because even as you look at all those mass numbers, really about 2% of
1:02.6	everybody who's on that place of influence or in that place of influence or on a mic or on a
1:07.7	stage have had any sort of training. So I don't think that that's always bad in the sense that I don't think we need to be
1:15.0	professional preachers or communicators.
1:17.5	But I think there needs to be this desire in all of us that we want to become the best
1:22.3	God has called us to be and that we don't settle for just, oh, I barely got through it.
1:27.0	But we actually become excellent, just, oh, I barely got through it, but we actually become
1:28.0	excellent, really, really well communicated, like influencers and preachers and pastors.
1:34.9	So here's what I'm going to do for this season.
1:37.9	Last season, we really talked to you as a new communicator, whether you had never
1:41.9	preached before or you're just getting started.
1:44.3	We spent an entire month of the topic. And this month is for all of you that have preached,
1:50.2	that have been preaching. And I know there's a crew of you, including myself, that we don't
1:55.7	really get messages around that or content around that because we just kind of, well,
