Welcome to the fit, healthy, and most of all happy podcast where our goal is to help you become fitter, healthier, and happier in every stage of life. As always, I'm your coach and host Josh here with.

0:10.5

It's co-host and co-coach, KG, and I'm on the mic. And this is going to be a really fun episode. These are three big questions, but we got four here technically, so we got a little bonus in there.

0:21.0

But the three we're addressing the title, you know, obviously what results can you actually expect from creatine? We've been hearing about these TikToks, people have been sending them to us of, you know, how I look before and then you see some person that looks incredible after. We're going to get into whether that's true or whether that's not, and I think the answer might actually intrigue you.

0:37.9

So make sure you stay tuned for that.

0:39.8

We're going to go over how to get a new squat PR5. into whether that's true or whether that's not and I think the answer might actually intrigue you so

0:38.0

make sure you stay tuned for that we're going to go over how to get a new squat PR finally especially

0:42.2

I know a lot of people have been stuck on squats and how to target love handles you know with summer

0:46.6

coming up so this is a big episode because these are three really targeted fun questions that I

0:51.3

think will affect everyone but if you're new around here we like starting out with quotes because quotes inspire us. They get us fired up. We did a little bit of a poll on Instagram asking people, what do you enjoy about the podcast the most? And this seem to be one area that people really seem to enjoy, you know, a new quote, a new way of thinking, something to challenge our norms. So we're going to jump into it with Kyle's quote. But first, he just has a quick little message here. Yeah, just one reminder. We always do include timestamps, especially for the Monday episode. So if you want to, you know, just look at each of our quotes, like whatever it is, you know, if you want to just jump to a specific thing as well, just want to give you that warning that it is always every single Monday, you will always be able to do that. I believe you can also just click on it whenever you see like, you know, even if there's a specific question that really targets what you are looking to have answered. I just wanted to give you that reminder because a lot of people don't really, you know, look at the bio as much as I feel like they should. So make sure to check that out. We do it for a reason. And without further ado, my question came from, I think it was Tony Robbins this past week when I was listening. He's been doing a lot of interviews because one of his books just came out. And it had said, he had said, complexity is the enemy of execution. And I thought that was pretty powerful because I've always said this. And you know, you've probably heard me say it quite a few times that I feel like, you know, a lot of times when it comes to getting results, it's doing the basics over and over and over again and staying consistent with that. And I just thought this was a cool way of saying that like, you know, especially I always relate things back to the fitness journey, of course, that's what you guys are listening to us for.

2:34.0

But, you know, when you overcomplicate it, when you feel like you have to do something that's so daunting, when you just, you know, come up with something that just is so unrealistic. Like, Ivan, there's so many times in my life where I want to do something, I know that if I make it seem too daunting, and I feel like I'm someone that's, you know, quite driven and always looking to get to that next level. But, you know, when you know that you have to just go through all these different hoops and just like, you know, even for the fitness journey, it's such a struggle and make it like so complicated and so complex. It's very hard to actually take that next step and actually execute the way that you want to or should be doing. So anyways, I thought that was really powerful is like you know just

2:51.1

a very simple you know just keep thinking about that and i think that can help a lot of you on your

2:56.0

journey today yeah well said you know i i do believe that you know just being an expert in something

3:00.7

or being a pro is just being masterful with the basics you know and that's one thing i like to

3:05.6

challenge everyone with you know even i'll have clients hey, everything is just in line right now.

3:09.8

Training's on point.

3:10.7

Nutrition is incredible.

3:12.1

My life's just never being better.

3:13.1

I say, okay, how can we even get a little bit better? How can be more masterful? What's one area we can hone in on? And even in my personal journey, you know, doing some reflection, I'm like, you know what, it's time for me.

3:22.6

You know, I'm back from Florida.

3:23.9

Obviously, I was super motivated training for that, you know, and I had a real talk saying, listen, I need to get re-inspired with that. I'm going to set a higher step goal. I'm going to make sure I'm really dedicating myself to, you know, doing little things such as my ab training, optimizing hydration, you know, focusing on sleep because right now my training is phenomenal. I've been lifting really

3:41.1

heavy. I've been really consistent. I'm just been getting stronger than ever and challenging

3:44.6

everything there. But, you know, instead of being complacent, saying, you know, that's good enough for me, good stuff. You know, I'm proud of you, Josh. Let's leave it there. Like, you know, I'm, of course, I'm saying I'm proud of myself and I am, but I'm saying, you know, hey, how can we level this up?
