Dating & fat loss. We are going there today. Whether you are married, dating or single, this episode will tackle mindsets & strategies for staying true to your goals regardless of what people in your life eat or choose.

The reality is: no matter who you are with or what anyone around you chooses, you are always 100% in control of what you put in your mouth, how much & when.

Does this make it easy to make progress towards your goals when people are around you are indulging? Nope. But this is life.

I think it's a huge asset to have people in your life who eat differently than you do. It's an incredible opportunity to practice and become resilient.

I'm excited to talk about how I approach difficult situations, how I say no, when I indulge and how I strike balance between social eating situations and my goals.

  • Pay attention to the kinds of choices that make you feel your best
  • Optimize your habits outside of date night
  • Don't apologize for or feel the need to explain your choices
  • Don't be dramatic -  you're not a victim of your choices
  • Stay away from self-deprication - it's not sexy or funny
  • Make dating about fun & connection, not food

Before we get into today's episode I had to tell you a quick story. Hey guys it's Elizabeth and last

night my mom came over to hang out with my kids and it gets me but really my kids for a little

bit and I have got me, but really my kids for a little bit.

And I have challenged her.

I've talked about this on the show before.

I challenged her to put on a certain amount of muscle

before the end of the year,

and she's kind of giving me an update on how that was going.

And she told me that she signed up for strong foundations,

the program that I'm doing with Coach Morgan Bungers,

on helping people build strength safely, effectively, effectively,

efficiently, regardless of their experience level.

And she said she had previously signed up for a different program,

but what she found is there's no modifications.

So she purchased this program and I can totally relate

because I've done the same thing. She purchased this program to get workouts but some of

the things she can't do physically. Some of the things she can't do physically,

some of the things she doesn't have the equipment for,

and so she just is like, I guess I'll do what I can do.

But one of the things that is so valuable about what Morgan and I are doing for our
