Summary

This week, I’m kicking off a brand new series all about hitting the invisible walls in our lives—you know, the ones that show up out of nowhere and leave us stuck, exhausted, and wondering what just happened. I had a whole different plan for this month, but I hit one of those walls myself and knew we needed to talk about it. Whether it’s mental, spiritual, physical, or even environmental, these walls can sneak up on us and take us out if we don’t pause and pay attention. In this episode, I walk you through how I’ve learned to name the wall, ask what it’s trying to protect me from, and remind myself that it’s not a dead end—it’s a doorway. So take a breath, friend. You’ve done nothing wrong. The wall is real, but so are you.

Have you ever felt like you were doing your life and all of a sudden you hit this invisible

wall and you don't know what the wall is. It's like everything was working yesterday and today

0:12.2

it's not working. I want to talk to you about hitting the wall. Now I changed my series.

0:18.3

I actually had a whole July series set up, prepped everything.

0:22.2

And I realized in my own life that I need, I need to talk about this. We need to talk about

0:28.9

this because I really have seen, even the last, gosh, month, excuse me, year to two years,

0:35.9

it feels like I hit walls. Like there's these invisible

0:39.4

walls. And then I, it takes me a while to figure out what's happening. And then to climb out of

0:45.0

that wall, it really requires an awareness, the Holy Spirit's help to figure out where the wall is

0:51.4

and what's really happening. And as I've watched us in my own life,

0:54.9

I've watched it in your lives. Like I think that there are these invisible walls that we honestly

1:01.0

diagnose wrong. We spend a lot of time in energy trying to do something that isn't working.

1:07.2

And a lot of times when I hit the wall and I think when you hit the wall, it really takes us out for not just like a week or two. It takes us out for a season. So I want to talk about hitting the invisible walls in our lives and the entire month of July. I want to talk about hitting the invisible walls of our spiritual life, our physical life, our mental life, our environmental life. What does it look like?

1:29.5

And how do we identify what type of wall it is? And then I want to give you not these brilliant,

1:35.3

robust ideas, but the things that work in my life, the things that I'm implementing to get me

1:41.3

to the next place. Like, I don't know about you, but life doesn't stop when we

1:45.9

hit walls. Specifically, if you are somewhat of a educated, you know, powerful person, you know,

1:53.4

you've got a job, you've got bills, some of us have families, some of us have marriages,

1:58.3

we've got our health, some of us that are in perimenopause,

2:01.4

whoo, like we are in this season. And what I found was when I was a young woman, I really didn't

2:08.0

understand the wall. And because I had the luxury of off ramping for a month or two or even a year,

2:14.3

I would just kind of be in that wall. But as my life has gotten going,
