You know, we love this episode because usually people are struggling when they're traveling, right?

But these eight tips are really going to help you, you know, just be successful through any situation, whether you're traveling for work, going on a vacation, you know, running around, you know, you got kids playing soccer and you got to pack your little orange slices. You know, what are you going to eat? We got the answers here. So we're going to jump into it with numeral uno, which is to eat a healthy meal before you go out. So this is a big one for me. I'm known and I'm very guilty. Like all the time, people always say, did you pre-each, because I always tell people I like to pre-eat. It's who I am and how I am. You know, if I go to a restaurant, I know I'm probably not getting as much food or like the protein I want. So as silly as it it is even yesterday i knew we were going out we were

going to go get a sub i had two bags of quest protein chips which are a phenomenal hack by the way

i have no affiliation with them and i kind of hate quest bars but the protein chips are amazing

uh you can get them from target like i think it's eight bucks uh for four of them so two dollars a bag

they're like 20 protein only four carbs and like

four fat or something like 120 calories like they're such a great hack for me and i've really been

enjoying them but you know i had two bags of those and i'm like 40 grand's a protein about 250

260 calories you know it's a great way for me to kind of prime myself and to maybe get something

a little bit more fun and then that way i'm more full because I know I make horrible decisions when I'm hungry so having a little bit you know don't feel guilty I know it's weird and some people if you have less calories maybe you don't have this luxury or liberty but it is a great option and maybe even if you don't maybe you just have a little blast of Greek yogurt 100 calories get, get some protein and fill up your stomach a little, chug some water. It just, it makes it that much easier to stick to it when you've actually had some good healthy food and you're not starving and making decisions out of urgency. And number two is just simply packing a few healthy snacks. Now, this is something that has helped me for years, especially I used to be out for 12 to 15 hour days, just not have a kitchen, you know, not even have time to stop somewhere. But, you know, just there's so many different things. If you are out for quite a few hours, you could consider a cooler bag. That could be very helpful for you as well. But yeah, fresh cut fruit, veggies and hummus, you know, protein bars. Josh already talked about the protein chips. Any protein snack will definitely help you out, especially it'll fill you up. I would sometimes grab some almonds, like some healthy fats and have that available. But you don't make good decisions when you're absolutely ravenous, I would say. So just having these available, if you, you know, just need to grab it during the day will definitely help you throughout the

all the time too they say like one of the worst things you can do is not eat at work a A lot of people drive home late at night. They see that McDonald's. They see that Burger King. And, you know, our body just wants to eat. It's like, get me some freaking food. And those are quick, easy sources of food that are horrible for us and very caloric, but it's what our brain wants. So you can kind of circumvent that by actually having great foods and great snacks available. It just makes it easier. And like we said, a big thing too is just avoiding that urgency. So we actually have a ton of amazing things and we have a free, you know, kind of suggested food guide that everyone can check out.
