It's been a while since we last had a He Said/She Said episode, and I think it's best to start off by explaining why. What started with a quick trip away from our home due to riots that hit uncomfortably close to home ended with an unexpected tragedy in the family, which led to seven weeks away from home. Despite how painful it was, there is a certain blessing that comes with the change in perspective that this situation caused, and that's what we're here to talk about.

| 1:06.8 | We just got back yesterday and it was really a very unexpected reason that we were gone. So first we left because a lot of the riding that was going |
| 1:14.6 | on in LA was literally on our street, literally you know crushing Santa Monica and |
| 1:19.2 | and the block that we are on here. So we left because we didn't want to be subject |
| 1:24.5 | to some of the stuff that came along with the riding. |
| 1:27.1 | But then when we were gone, what happened was we got a call |
| 1:31.3 | and my dad, who I am super close to passed away completely |
| 1:36.3 | unexpectedly you know 72 years old young vibrant just totally |
| 1:40.3 | unexpectedly and so we had to drop what we were doing and rush up to |
| 1:44.4 | Wisconsin to be with my mom and to take care of all the plans and everything that |
| 1:47.4 | went on and those two things together turned into seven weeks away from |
| 1:51.8 | home completely unexpectedly where we had to |
| 1:55.1 | you know interrupt our life and and just figure things out and it turned out to be a |
| 2:02.3 | really a beautiful blessing of different perspective. |
