Well, we've reached the final special edition bonus episode of our seven-week series,

journeying through various keystone topics around God's sex and intimacy.

Throughout this series, we've intentionally worked our way through some of the main questions

that people come to us with, questions about marriage, singleness, talking to kids about sex, healing and trauma, and sexual intimacy.

Now on Monday, we heard from Preston Springle talking about his book,

exploring what the Bible says about same-sex marriage.

And in today's conversation, we're going to go deeper into the topic of knowing God's

heart for our sexuality.

A biblical sexual ethic can seem cruel and unloving if we don't have an intimate relationship

with God himself.

My guest today, Rachel Gilson, has wrestled with the scriptures to understand how God's love is

actually expressed in his created design for sexuality. Rachel is a same-sex attracted woman who is

married to a man. She's the author of a great book called Born Again This Way. The book is about

her coming out story about finding God and embracing who God created her to be.

Rachel is honest, kind, she's super smart and funny, and you're going to see this come through

in my conversation with her as we wrestle with why we need to go deeper and understanding

of God's heart for our sexuality.
