Welcome to the happiness podcast. I'm Dr. Robert Puff. Can you think of the last time

0:10.0

you exploded at someone, said really vitriolic, cruel things,

0:15.0

and it benefited you?

0:17.0

I bet you can't.

0:19.0

Anger is one of the most destructive emotions that humans can display towards each other.

0:26.2

How many times has this happened to you?

0:29.0

You were really angry over what someone was doing to you, and you knew you shouldn't say anything because you

0:35.1

were so angry but there was a part of you that just couldn't resist and then you let him have it

1:30.0

And two things result, one is they may really hurt the other person.

1:35.0

But the one thing I guarantee you is there will be so much self-loathing for what they did.

1:41.0

They probably will never share it with you, but they've shared it with me many

1:46.2

times. And when we release that anger, we're all the same. We feel afterwards the regret, the remorse. the So today we want to learn how not to do that. How do we control our anger so that we don't hurt other people and can truly be kind in all situations no matter what?

2:12.0

I know you haven't had my experiences, of course not, but you can study

2:16.6
