Summary

Growing a side hustle into a thriving, six-figure practice with 20 team members is something to be proud of. But, throw in the delegation of all client work, and I expect more than a few jaws to drop! This impressive accomplishment was achieved by Sarah Ziemba, a member of our CEOCHIX Mastermind Program and the founder of Shine Therapy Services.

Sarah and her dedicated team offer speech therapy, developmental therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and feeding therapy to at-risk children from birth up to age three. Sarah’s story touches my heart because as a mother of three kids, I’m so grateful for the work that she and others in similar professions do to help the people we love the most.

However, many people in professions like Sarah’s don’t receive the necessary training on how to run a business or lead a team. Here at BizChix, we love supporting women with local service-based practices to help them build teams so that they can delegate and overcome overwhelm.

No matter what type of business you have, you’ll be inspired by Sarah and her story. In this episode, we talk about how she was able to move into the CEO role in her business and let go of doing client work. The transition from employee to CEO is something that I see many of our clients struggle with as they move from six figures to multi-six figures and beyond.

If you have a side hustle of your own with dreams of transforming it into a profitable, thriving business, I hope that hearing Sarah’s story motivates you to keep pursuing your dream.

In this episode, we discuss:

  • How to turn your side hustle into a successful business
  • How to transition yourself away from client work and focus solely on growing your business
  • Why you shouldn’t feel guilty about referring or delegating clients
