Love is in the air and whether you’re in a relationship or not, we could all do with a little more love in our lives. And, nobody knows this better than Marriage and Family Therapist, Leslie Baker. Leslie has made a career out of spreading more love in this world. She has helped hundreds (if not thousands) of couples relight their flames and helped piece broken families and individuals back together who have had their lives disheveled by difficult things like grief, anxiety and depression.
I invited Leslie onto the show because first of all, she has an incredible entrepreneurial story that I know you’re going to love. And, secondly, she’s a genius when it comes to building stronger relationships with the most important people in your life.
Leslie is a member of our CEOCHIX Mastermind and has over 30 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy. She is a Certified Gottman Therapist and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor as well as a published author and national speaker. Her compassionate approach to dealing with tough topics makes her a highly-sought after Marriage and Family Therapist because people find it so easy to open up and trust her.
This episode may be going live on Valentine’s Day, but no matter when you tune in, I hope that Leslie’s story and her advice inspires you to hold your loved ones a little tighter and reminds you to appreciate the most important people in your life.
In this episode, we discuss:
How to develop stronger relationships
Tips for building your ‘emotional bank account’ with positive interactions
How to avoid getting into ‘negative sentiment override’ with your partner
