We really believe that L.A. is going to swing this election, and we had to get out there so we can claim credit for it.

And today, I'm happy to be joined by Mayor Stuart Smarty.

Mayor Smarty, how are you today? I'm doing great. I feel happy to be joined by Mayor Stewart Smarty. Mayor Smarty, how are you doing today?

I'm doing great.

I feel great to be here, Tolliver.

You know, got lots of great things to talk about.

And again, you know, it's really charming to be kind of the focus on these, you know, one of the most, you know, high profile mayors in America.

But I'm just a humble small town mayor trying to do my best.

So I'm going to try really hard not to not to let my head get too big here, To Oliver,

but I'm not going to lie. I'm loving the attention.

Mayor Smarty, I want to start out with.

What do you think it is about three pumpkins that makes you work

so well with that town? Well, you know, we're just a quiet beachside town up there in California.

We have good, honest people who love the weather. We go out there and we hike and we get along.

We make sure to have fair pay for everyone and do right by everyone we can with the limited resources that we're able to muster through the city. But, you know, we do our best. And, you know, I try to go out there. I try to shake hands. I try to mix it up. The people are sick of me, frankly, Tolliver, you know, they, I keep, you know,

I give a speech of the high school every week. None of the kids even stay awake for it anymore.

Well, I have to say this past summer, me and my wife Caroline went out to three pumpkins.
