Summary

Can you remember what you were doing on this day, five years ago? Usually, I would be scratching my head trying to think, but I know exactly what I was doing. Because, it was on this day, all those years ago, that I launched the BizChix Podcast!

So much has changed in the last five years. I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of women entrepreneurs, and I’ve spoken on stages in front of thousands of people. It’s safe to say that it’s been a whirlwind adventure!

Join me on this episode where I share my top five business lessons that I’ve accumulated both through running my own business and my client work. You’ll also hear about a few trends that I’ve noticed are gaining momentum in the entrepreneurial sphere, and if you stick around until the end, you’ll receive some extremely helpful bonus advice too!

In this episode, I discuss:

  • Why selling a service is the fastest way to build a profitable business
  • How to grow and scale your business when you don’t have a large following
  • The truth about passive income (hint: it is not so passive)
  • Why some businesses are easier to build than others
  • Advice for business owners who are struggling to get enough traction
  • How to examine your own business and determine whether or not you’re solving a big enough problem
  • How to create a six-figure business from a small audience
  • Creating real passive income with help from your team
  • Tips for developing leadership and team building skills
  • Current business trends that may gain momentum in 2019
  • The value of hosting live events and how it can help you to build relationships with your clients
  • Whether membership sites are worth the investment
  • My top highlights of 2018, including publishing my book, “E.S.E.T. Your Mindset”, launching a second podcast, welcoming new members to the team, hitting one million podcast downloads and so much more!
  • Why you should think about what your ‘big goal’ is for 2019 and how you’re going to make it happen
